Celtic summer signing ‘looks dangerous’ as big-money signing hyped after ‘absolute dream’ in weekend win

The star joined Celtic on a permanent basis in the summer.

Adam Idah has received excellent reviews for the previous week at Celtic, and performances like the one he had over the weekend demonstrate why he’s a terrific addition.

The club spent a significant amount of money on the Irish international during the transfer window, agreeing to a deal for £9.5 million with Norwich City for his talents. Idah scored in a 5-1 thrashing of Slovan Bratislava midweek and then twice in a 5-2 victory over Falkirk.

Andy Walker, a former Celtic player, has loved seeing Idah so far in Hoops. He believes instances like James Forrest’s delivery into him will make him salivate at what he can accomplish at Celtic.

He said on Go Radio: “His mentality is completely dead on; he’s full of running and desperate to be involved. He came on the other night and scored (against Slovan Bratislava); he earned his start over the weekend, and despite the late goals, this is someone who wants to impress.

“Every time he’s given a chance, I believe he appears dangerous. I believe he is dangerous since Celtic receives a lot of high-quality balls in and around the box. They have a decent goal-scoring threat in the middle of the pitch, but their wide players are making some very productive runs.

“James Forrest’s pass the other night was a striker’s dream. It was always going to be a one-touch finish, and he accomplished it exceptionally well. There was similar into him at the weekend against Falkirk, and I believe he’s excited by the quality of service he’s receiving in and around the box.”
