“His attitude is spot on; he’s full of running and desperate to be involved,” the speaker said. Even though the goals came later, this is a player who truly wants to impress. He showed up the other night and scored his goal (against Slovan Bratislava); he made his debut over the weekend.
“I think he looks deadly every time he gets the chance. He appears dangerous to me since Celtic are getting a lot of good balls in and around the area. Their wide players are producing extremely fruitful runs, but they also have a strong goal-scoring threat from the middle of the pitch.
“A striker’s dream come true to be on the receiving end of James Forrest’s pass the other night. He performed an excellent job of finishing with only one touch, as it will always be. I believe he is thrilled with the kind of service he is receiving inside and outside the box because there was similar behavior toward him over the weekend against Falkirk.
This week, Adam Idah will build on his Celtic lift-off.
Idah carried a threat even in his less than stellar club debut, starting against St. Mirren despite being far from entirely recovered. His runs in behind caused their backline a great deal of trouble.
