‘There for the taking’ – Stoke City boss Mark Robins has say on Middlesbrough after loss

Stoke City manager Mark Robins believes Middlesbrough were ‘available for the taking’ on Tuesday night.

Stoke City fell 3-1 at home to Michael Carrick’s team. SCFC levelled on the stroke of halftime by Bae Jun-ho, but the visitors stole the points in the second half.

The Potters currently sit in 20th place in the Championship rankings. They are five points ahead of the drop zone with 12 games left to play.

According to StokeOnTrentLive, Robins stated that they were “there for the taking.” They lack confidence and are overjoyed to be playing Stoke City tonight, which irritates me much.

I won’t make excuses, and I must accept the consequences; it is my obligation. We need better. “We need stronger performances and better players at some point because it is clear that we are lacking in both, and we need more of them to show that bottle. That’s what I am looking for.”
