Cambridge United returns for previous coaches after sacking
Despite being stuck at the bottom of League One, Cambridge fired manager Monk.
After a difficult season under club veteran Mark Bonner, who also makes a comeback to the Abbey Stadium this week, the former Swansea City, Leeds United, and Middlesbrough manager took over in March and helped the U’s survive last season.

The former central defender finished with an 18.37% winning record after winning just nine of his 41 games as manager.
A mainstay at the Den both on and off the field, Harris had a brief stint last season, winning five of his 14 games before moving back to South-East London.

He is a remarkable person, and we hope that his strategic thinking, leadership, and in-depth knowledge of the game will enable him to become an amazing Director of Football for us in the long run.
In addition to struggling to stay up, he will complete the second section of the football review as preparations for the upcoming season begin.
