Edin Terzic in frame for Everton job as Sean Dyche sack decision looms

Edin Terzic could be considered for the Everton job amid rising concerns about Sean Dyche’s future, according to Mark Douglas.

According to i News [20 September], three managers are ready to take over Dyche’s role if he gets fired.

David Moyes and Graham Potter are two of them, with Terzic being identified as the other due to his desire to coach in the Premier League.

Terzic is without a club after electing to resign down as Borussia Dortmund’s manager following defeat to Real Madrid in June’s Champions League final.

Edin Terzic would be a risky Everton managerial appointment

Appointing Terzic in the summer after leading Dortmund to the Champions League final and coming close to winning the Bundesliga the previous year would have been an exciting move.

However, the scenario has changed just four games into the season, as the Toffees are at the bottom of the table and cannot afford a dangerous next appointment.

This is presuming Dyche is fired, though he will have another opportunity to redeem himself when Everton go to Leicester City later on Saturday (September 21).

If Dyche leaves, Moyes appears to be the most logical choice, even if that appointment would not be well received by the entire supporters.
