Dan Bardell: Everton can’t afford another loss ahead of ‘Huge’ game

Sean Dyche cannot afford Everton defeat v Leicester amid sack talk – Sky Sports journalist

Dan Bardell believes Everton must give their fans some positivity in their clash against Leicester City who will be confident of their chances.

The Toffees will be hoping to take something out from their meeting at the King Power Stadium after a winless start to the Premier League season.
The mood around the club has only become worse after Sean Dyche’s men squandered a 2-0 lead in two consecutive games.

Sky Sports and talkSPORT writer Bardell believes the Foxes will be confident, but Everton must learn something from the game in the East Midlands.

Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, Bardell stated, “It’s a tremendously huge game. Leicester has impressed me this season.

“I believe they’ve looked good and achieved some nice results; they’ll see it as a good opportunity to beat Everton.

“Everton have had some good periods in games, being 2-0 up in their last two games but they always look like conceding goals.””Everton fans need to see something to know that their club has something positive going on. It’s a huge game, and they can’t afford another loss. Even if you offered them a point to come away with something, they would probably be happy.”

Everton must take something against Leicester City

The Toffees have battled all season, and a game against a probable relegation candidate looks like an opportunity to pick up some much-needed points.

There has been a general lack of enthusiasm at the club, with Tim Iroegbunam and Iliman Ndiaye providing sparks in the squad.

Dyche has under significant pressure and criticism for performances and styles of play that have yet to result in a win.

An away trip to the King Power Stadium appears to be a game that, if Everton does not win, will have a significant impact on their season.
