Wrexham predicted XI, team and injury news as Sebastian Revan starts vs Crawley Town

Wrexham face off with Crawley Town in a League One clash on Saturday afternoon.

On September 21st, the Red Dragons will host Crawley Town in a League One encounter at the Racecourse Ground.
Phil Parkinson will be hoping to see his side win again this weekend after suffering their first defeat of the season the previous week.

Jack Marriott scored after three minutes on Monday, but Wrexham suffered a 3-1 loss at Birmingham City earlier this week.

Despite the setback, the Welsh club remains equal top of the third level with the Tom Brady-owned club, with 13 points each.

Their emphasis will now transfer to Saturday’s match against Crawley, who have seven points from five games so far.

Wrexham team news ahead of Crawley Town

Despite having already played six league games this season, Parkinson is effectively controlling his team’s fitness.

Paul Mullin has returned to the squad after missing the start of the season due to injury, and only one Wrexham player is set to miss the weekend’s encounter.
Parkinson issued an injury update for Luke Bolton, saying that he will be out for a few weeks.

He informed us: “Luke has got a problem with his foot which is going to keep him out for a couple of weeks.”

Bolton has not been a key part of Wrexham’s squad this season, so his absence, while unfortunate, is not a major setback heading into Saturday’s game.

Wrexham predicted XI vs Crawley Town

Parkinson, who suffered his first league defeat of the season, could now make a few changes to his Wrexham starting lineup.

Sebastian Revan is one player that might undoubtedly improve the Dragons’ performance this weekend.

The wing-back has struggled to find playing time since his summer transfer, but he has impressed in his few appearances thus far.

Revan has pleased Parkinson with his versatility, as he can play as a left-wing-back as well as on the right side of a back-three or five.

After Wrexham’s cup victory over Salford City, the manager described Revan as’special’, and he should now replace Ryan Barnett in the starting lineup.

Further forward, while Marriott scored once again over the weekend, star striker Paul Mullin is expected to return to the starting lineup for the first time in League One this season.

Here’s how we expect Wrexham to line up against Crawley on Saturday…
