Nottingham Forest said to have agreement to sign attacker in January – €20m+ for winter move

According to Turkish media, Nottingham Forest are interested in signing Galatasaray attacker Barış Alper Yılmaz when the transfer

window reopens in the new year.

The Turkish international was linked with a move to the Premier League club this summer, and there were reports of an offer.

Haber Aktuel reported today on the latest steps in Forest’s pursuit of the 24-year-old, claiming the English club had reached an outline

deal with Galatasaray to sign him in January.

Gala is apparently searching for a substantial deal to sell one of its greatest assets, with the player expected to be transferred for a sum of

€20 million or more. According to recent rumors, Nottingham Forest made a bid of €25 million before last month’s deadline.

Yılmaz’s efforts for his country at Euro 2024 prompted interest from West Ham United and Liverpool during the previous transfer season.

The two Premier League clubs reportedly spoke with the player’s agent.

He started 28 Super Lig games last season and scored seven goals. Yılmaz is contracted with Galatasaray until June 2027.
