Fabrizio Romano says Arsenal are ‘making progress’ as they look to hand new contracts to two players

The North London team is now prepared to provide new contracts to two of their recent top achievers, and the most recent details of both circumstances have been made public.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal is making “very good progress” with Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly on new contracts, with the most recent round of negotiations being “very positive.”

Thomas Tuchel, the new England manager, has taken notice of Nwaneri and Lewis-Skelly’s outstanding performances and is thinking about keeping both players on his Three Lions roster.

“Arsenal is making progress on new contracts for Lewis-Skelly and for Nwaneri – Nwaneri is doing great, fantastic – this boy is incredible! Additionally, I can assure you that Thomas Tuchel is keeping an eye on these two players for the future of England,” Romano posted on his YouTube channel.

Nwaneri, who was Arsenal’s finest player at Leicester, is currently the main focus, and great progress is being made.

“It’s important to note that Nwaneri’s contract is progressing very well right now, and it’s anticipated that everything will be ready very soon,” Romano continued.

“The goal is to move forward, but the recent interactions have been excellent, so Arsenal is getting ready for the future with Lewis-Skelly and Nwaneri.”

Considering Lee Carsley’s final England team, Nwaneri and Lewis-Skelly have a solid chance of making Tuchel’s starting lineup.
