Sunderland midfielder reveals two-week injury return timeframe after summer transfer move

The midfield player for Sunderland has provided an explanation of when he might play again under Régis Le Bris.

Salis Abdul Samed, a midfielder for Sunderland, estimates he will be fit in around two weeks.

On deadline day of the summer window, the Ghanaian defensive midfielder joined from RC Lens.

The midfield player was inconsistent prior to the current campaign, but he was a regular in the past. The 24-year-old, who made six appearances in the Champions League the previous season, offers the team a wealth of elite experience.

Nevertheless, Samed is now out due to injury and has not played for the Black Cats since his arrival. The athlete stated that he hoped to be back to full fitness in two weeks after experiencing a minor injury during a talk-in with fans on Tuesday night.

The agreement does not allow for RC Lens to make it permanent starting next summer. Following Chris Mepham and Serbian midfielder Milan Aleksic through the door at the Academy of Light, Samed became Sunderland’s third addition on deadline day.
