that defines the season?

A month after his contract with Plymouth Argyle was terminated, Adam Forshaw celebrated in front of their bench

after scoring against his old team.

Blackburn Rovers brought Argyle back down to earth when they arrived at Ewood Park on Saturday.

Last week’s historic victory over Liverpool in the FA Cup fourth round was part of the relegation-threatened team’s

three-game winning streak.

Forshaw started the scoring with his first goal for Rovers since signing in January, and Tyrhys Dolan extended the

advantage to give the home team a 2-0 victory.

Forshaw’s looping half-volley found the back of the net, and he wheeled off in celebration, throwing his arms up in a

Jude Bellingham fashion.

He was a few meters away from the Argyle bench and near to Miron Muslic, their manager.

After scoring against Plymouth Argyle, Adam Forshaw celebrated in front of their bench.

Following a miraculous voll, he stood with his arms extended in front of his former teammates and coach.

After Argyle terminated his contract on January 11, 2024, Forshaw joined Blackburn.

But after the final whistle, Forshaw informed Muslic that he was actually racing towards his family in the stands and

that his celebration was not a jab at his old team.

The Austrian CEO clarified that the event was only a misunderstanding and that the feud was promptly put to rest.

‘I respect that and if I had scored that beautiful goal, I would go to my family celebrating. He is a top professional

and there is nothing but respect.
