‘Hopefully’ – Blackburn Rovers injury update shared by David Lowe after Plymouth Argyle win
David Lowe, the interim manager of Blackburn Rovers, stated that they do not yet know how long Danny Batth
would be sidelined.
The defender did not play in Blackburn Rovers’ victory over Plymouth Argyle over the weekend. At Ewood Park,
Rovers won all three points thanks to goals from Tyrhys Dolan and Adam Forshaw.
The 34-year-old Batth missed the game against the Pilgrims due to a hamstring strain. It’s unclear how long he
might be out for the time being.
According to the Lancashire Telegraph, Lowe stated in his most recent condition update: “Unfortunately, he’s
tweaked his hamstring, the length of the injury time we’re not 100% sure yet.” Additionally, I must mention Danny,
who was present today once more. He is an amazing pro, and I have thoroughly enjoyed working with him over the
past several days.
He currently has a little hamstring injury, which is unfortunate for him. Hopefully, he can get better as soon as possible.
Blackburn Rovers injury update regarding Danny Batth
Blackburn Rovers signed Batth on a free transfer last year and he has turned out to be a useful addition.
The veteran has boosted their defensive ranks and has injected more experience into their squad.

He penned a one-year deal with the Lancashire outfit running until the summer of 2025 and they have a decision to
make regarding his future.
Batth has made 33 appearances in all competitions so far this season, 29 of which have come in the league, and he
has chipped in with two goals.
“I’ve worked really hard over the summer and I’m very grateful for Wolves having me in there for the last three or
four weeks, training with them, so I feel like I’ve got a really good base to build on now and hopefully I can get some
minutes as soon as possible,” he said after joining Rovers, according to the club website at the time.
“I’ve been welcomed here with great warmth. I’ve played against a lot of guys over the years, and they seem like a
great bunch—bright, vivacious, and quite focused.
The player from the Midlands has previously played for Wolves, Stoke City, Sunderland, and Norwich City. What now
for Blackburn Rovers’ Danny Batth?
In order to determine the extent of Batth’s injury, Blackburn Rovers must examine him.
They return to action this weekend away to Swansea City in the interim.
