Authorities are looking for a man who left a Sunderland hospital without finishing his treatment after suffering a brain injury.

Enquiries carried out so far have indicated that the man may be called Mick or Michael

Police are asking for the public’s assistance in finding a man who fled a hospital with a head injury. The man was brought to Sunderland Royal Hospital early on Monday in order to receive treatment for a head wound. But around 2:15 p.m., he walked out of the hospital toward Hylton Road before the medical team could finish treating him. According to the inquiries made thus far, the man might go by Mick or Michael. Officers are now pleading with the man to get in touch with them or with anyone who may have seen him.

He is said to be in his 50s, approximately six feet tall, with gray and white hair. He was last seen with a brown jacket, grey pants, and a grey jumper on. Anyone with information is encouraged to use the live chat feature on the Force website or send a direct message to Northumbria Police on social media.
