Rail services have been delayed as a freight train derailed.
Greater Anglia reported the event at Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, at around 18:00 GMT.
The rail operator said it did not know when the line connecting Norwich and Great Yarmouth via Acle will reopen.
Response teams were on the scene, examining the train system for damage, according to an X representative.
They stated that replacement buses would run between Norwich and Great Yarmouth, making only one stop at Acle in each way.
Trains continue to travel between Norwich, Brunsdall, Lingwood, and Acle.
Passengers who have train tickets between Norwich and Great Yarmouth will be able to ride the X1 Coastlink service between the two towns.
Derailment
Eastern Rail Services informed reporter Andrew Turner on the scene that eight carriages were being reversed at a strolling speed into carriage sidings at Great Yarmouth when one of the wheelsets derailed.
He stated that “the process of re-railing” was beginning and would take approximately two hours.
The BBC understands that an investigation will be conducted to determine what caused the derailment.
