The Best Quarterback the Saints have faced this season…

Red-hot Matthew Stafford is the best quarterback the Saints have faced this season

Week 16 will see Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford’s biggest game since Super Bowl LVI.

versus the Saints of New Orleans. What happens on Thursday Night Football between the Rams and Stafford will decide whether or not LA

will spend the rest of the regular season under a playoff death sentence.

Matt needs to demonstrate that he is still one of the league’s clutch quarterbacks in what is unquestionably a must-win game for the Rams.

Not a lot of pressure, right? However, ever since LA’s bye week, Stafford has been on an absurd tear.

The star’s season stats were only eight touchdown passes to seven interceptions prior to the Week 10 bye.

That’s why his red-hot stretch seemingly felt like it came out of nowhere. It was a welcome surprise

nonetheless and the Rams are firmly in the playoff hunt because of his recent play.

Stafford has thrown multiple touchdowns in four straight games as Los Angeles has gone 3-1 in those outings.

All of this is bad news for New Orleans because the veteran signal caller is one of the best the Saints have faced this season.

One may argue that C.J. Stroud, the probable Offensive Rookie of the Year, was the finest quarterback New Orleans faced in 2023.

But in the 20-13 victory in October, Stroud had trouble, finishing 48.1 percent of his passes for 199 yards, two touchdowns, and

touchdowns in addition to his initial career interception. Regarding interceptions, let me just say that for all the garbage that

Stafford leads the NFL in having the lowest rate of turnover-worthy plays, despite his turnover rate.

Suck on that haters! Huge thank you to the analytic nerds for being able to back me up there.

Nothing about this game should cause Rams fans to believe this will be an easy win.

Obviously, an easy victory does not exist in the NFL. Nevertheless, I doubt the Saints will be able to slow down.

Stafford’s ability to move the chains on third and fourth downs is another facet of his game.

The Saints do not play Mac Jones, Tyson Bagent, or Bryce Young on Thursday night.

Matthew FREAKING Stafford, who has already embarked on an outrageous retribution tour, will be their opponent.

The Saints will have a long journey back to the Bayou tomorrow morning if Stafford is able to get going tonight, so hide the kids.
