Exclusive: Hackett stunned by Willie Collum after Nick Walsh’s Rangers ‘slap’ audio

The former PGMOL chief and former FIFA official exclusively told Football Insider that Scottish FA referees chief Willie Collum may need to speak with lawmakers IFAB regarding their interpretation of the incident.Rangers player Diomande swiftly got his dismissal reversed on appeal, but Hackett thinks the most recent information will force Scottish authorities to reevaluate the ruling.
The audio exchange between officials was made public in the most recent installment of the Scottish FA’s VAR decision review program.
It came to light that during those discussions, Don Robertson and the other two VAR officials had determined that Diomande’s contact with Holt was “negligible” and ought to have resulted in a yellow card.
