Marcus Harness, an Ipswich Town attacker, has a new head coach at Championship loan club Derby County.

The 28-year-old joined the Rams on loan for the season under Paul Warne, who was ousted last week after a seven-match losing streak in league.

They have now appointed John Eustace on a three-and-a-half-year contract after he left rival second-tier club Blackburn Rovers.

Eustace moves from Ewood Park, where they are currently fifth in the table, to Pride Park, where Derby are narrowly outside the relegation zone on goal difference.

Tomorrow’s game against Queens Park Rangers will be his debut as manager of the Rams, where he previously played twice.

Harness has made 28 appearances and scored once during his loan stay.The dynamic forward’s contract at Portman Road expires this summer.
