With their position at the top of the Championship table, Leeds United is expected to be promoted to the Premier League automatically this season. Chris Wilder, the manager of Sheffield United, has even predicted that they would win the Championship, and if they return to the top division, there is already discussion about the players the Whites would like to add during the summer transfer window.

Leeds knows that if they want to stay in the Premier League, they must add top players to their team in order to improve it by a significant margin. Most likely, an attacking midfielder is probably on their agenda, and Leeds has been keeping an eye on Emiliano Buendia. On the other hand, the team is interested in signing one more player.

The Whites lead the league by just two points and are five points clear of clubs that are not guaranteed promotion. Their form, however, has resulted in rash ideas about what they might require if they were promoted.

The Premier League’s bottom three presently include the three teams that advanced last season. The message is clear: if Leeds United want to stay in the top flight, they will need to add a number of talented players to every position in their roster.
