Chelsea, Manchester United and Ipswich supporters ejected from London Stadium

Twenty-six Chelsea supporters were ejected from the home stands during the September home game at the London Stadium, and another 26 supporters were ejected from the home ends during the Manchester United and Ipswich games at the London Stadium, according to the recently released minutes of the London Stadium Safety Advisory Group.

Only 20 West Ham home fans were ejected throughout those three games, with an average of only seven ejections each game. Despite each game being “sold out,” the actual attendance for all three games was 169,095 (as revealed by Newham Council), which equates to an average of 56,365 each game.

Official attendances for the Chelsea home game were 62,473, the Manchester United game at the London Stadium was 62,474, and 62,467 tickets were sold for the Ipswich game in Stratford.

The actual attendance of 169,095 shown in these minutes indicates that 18,319 people did not show up even though they purchased tickets, despite the official published attendance for all three games combined being 187,414!
