Before Sunderland’s match against QPR, Mike Dodds now makes an early double-selection indication.

Mike Dodds now drops early double Sunderland selection hint ahead of QPR clash

After suffering their sixth straight loss at Southampton this past weekend, Sunderland is in desperate need of a victory.

Even though they had fallen behind 0–0 in the first half, Mike Dodds’ youthful team was able to even the score in the latter half of the thrilling six-goal match. However, Joe Rothwell’s brace destroyed any chance of a point.

It appears the Black Cats will have to make do with another season in the Championship as the loss drops them to 12th place, 11 points below sixth-place Norwich City. Play-offs are now all but unachievable.

Dodds needs to figure out how to get his team back to winning ways as they get ready to visit Queens Park Rangers, who are in danger of relegation, on Saturday.

The Sunderland boss has given a clear indication about his starting lineup ahead of the match.

Regarding Sunderland’s lineup against QPR, Mike Dodds makes a hint

Adil Aouchiche and Nazariy Rusyn, in particular, were unlucky not to start, according to Dodds, who also hinted that they would be in the starting lineup this weekend against QPR. Dodds spoke after the loss at St Mary’s.

Adil, who is 37 years old, stated, “They were unlucky not to start.” “I felt Naz was a great addition to what we were trying to accomplish because of his energy and enthusiasm,”

“Adil and Naz have made a strong impression so far. We still need to prepare and work hard for QPR, but by starting and performing well, they give themselves every opportunity.”

It would seem that on Saturday, Aouchiche—who has only started four league games this season—and Rusyn will get the chance to make an impression right away.

Sunderland against QPR has to get back to winning ways.

Surprisingly, Sunderland is far closer to the relegation zone than the top six, which is a concerning place to be.

Even though they are nine points ahead of Huddersfield Town, who are in 22nd position, relegation is improbable and nearly unimaginable.

They just cannot sustain their current losing streak of six games in a row if they wish to avoid getting any closer to the clubs battling it out below them.

Hence, Dodds needs to win to get his club back on track against QPR. It won’t be simple, though, as the visitors are among the division’s best teams.

Under Marti Cifuentes’ leadership, The Hoops have averaged just under two points per game over the past ten games. Cifuentes joined the West London club in October.
