Orel Mangala – out. The midfielder has been ruled out for the rest of the season for the Toffees which is a blow. He has posted on social media: “Thank you for all the messages of support – it is hard news to take. Believe with God on my side, I will be back soon and stronger than ever before!”

Meanwhile, Moyes has said: “Mangala will go back. I think we’re waiting for the surgeon to clear it. I think he will be operated on in France (with Lyon), as far as we know.” Expected return date: N/A

Armando Broja – out. The striker has had rotten luck on the injury front over recent years. He picked up an ankle injury last month against Peterborough and it is looking like March by the time he is fit again. Moyes shared this update on him: “Not absolutely happening but his injury is now going to take a lot longer than initially thought. It is one of the options that might be available but people around the club are talking about it with Chelsea.” Expected return date: 01/03/2025

Dominic Calvert-Lewin – out. Everton’s attacker has struck with a hamstring problem which isn’t ideal. He picked up the issue against Brighton and Hove Albion and his head coach has said: “Dom doesn’t need any surgery, he’s been checked so from that point of view it’s not a good injury but it’s maybe not quite as bad as we first feared when he got it. So we’re hoping that might not be as long as maybe first expected.” Expected return date: 08/03/2025

Moyes stated: “Dwight has had a minor surgery. I’ve just spoken to him as I’ve walked into the press conference. Hopefully, that has now sorted out his injury, which was a little bit difficult to diagnose.” Expected return date: 26/02/2025 Yassef Ramalho Chermiti is out. The forward hasn’t played at all this term, but he isn’t too far away now.
