“He looks a player” – Pundit Left Impressed By Celtic January Signing in Livingston Win

Nicolas Kuhn, who replaced the suspended Yang Hyun-jun in the Hoops’ 4-2 Scottish Cup victory over Livingston on Sunday, left former Celtic right-back and current pundit Mark Wilson impressed with his performance.
Kuhn consistently looked to take on his man and he floated a wonderful ball into the box from which Daizen Maeda netted The Bhoys’ opener in the first half. It felt like yesterday’s game was the first time the January arrival showed his true self to the fans.
Although he had made a few starts and cameos before, he had yet to impress.
He described how much of a momentum-builder the game could be for Kuhn after the game on the Clyde 1 Superscoreboard: “Players, they all go on confidence.”

Without a doubt, Kuhn has taken a little while to get rolling.

“We are evaluating him based on his performance today; he appears to be a player.

“Wingers and front players in particular rely on that [confidence] a bit more, so he’ll take great confidence from that.”

“He deserves a standing ovation for his hard work today, and he can be happy with that.”

When St Johnstone visits Parkhead the following Saturday, Kuhn, if fit, is probably going to be selected again.

Yang is still suspended for the match and may not return to his former wide player’s position on Saturday.

off yesterday, so when he returns, he will have to deal with some challenging composition.
