This is Brock Purdy’s first offseason as a married man.
About a month after the 49ers quarterback’s team, San Francisco, took on the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl 2024, Jenna Brandt, his fiancée, was married on Saturday in Des Moines, Iowa.
According to TMZ, the pair, who announced their engagement in July 2023, celebrated their marriage “with upwards of 350 guests,” and multiple buses were provided for transportation.
Purdy, 24, looked great in a black tux, while his bride wore a gorgeous strapless dress and an updo for her hair.
Only a few weeks had passed since Purdy and the 49ers lost Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas to the Chiefs in overtime.
As the penultimate pick (No. 262 overall) in the 2022 NFL Draft, the second-year quarterback—dubbed “Mr. Irrelevant” at one point—threw for 255 yards and one touchdown in the 25-22 loss.
Days after the game, Purdy received a beautiful message from Brandt reminding him that there was much to be “thankful for,” regardless of the outcome.
What a season to be grateful & proud of, wrote Brandt on Instagram.
Before transferring to the University of Northern Iowa, Purdy first met Brandt at Iowa State University, according to People.

She played volleyball at both institutions.
Purdy, who was thrown into the mix late in 2022 to replace the then-injured 49ers starter Jimmy Garoppolo, has had an interesting few years.
In January 2023, he guided the 49ers to an NFC Championship spot, but he left the game early in the team’s 31-7 loss to the Eagles because of an elbow injury.
