“Keep right on!” – Tom Wagner reacts to big Birmingham City milestone

The Blues’ primary goal this season was promotion after an incredible summer spending binge by League One standards, and they are well on their way to achieving it. They are currently eight points clear of third place and have two games left in the following pack. Birmingham could have two reasons to celebrate this season, though, as they advanced to the EFL Trophy last four with a 1-0 victory against Stevenage last night.

The game’s lone goal was scored by forward Jay Stansfield, who came off the bench to make the game-winning effort. Wagner also commended the team for continuing their incredible recent run on his Instagram account, including a photo of Stansfield enjoying the victory.
