Norfolk police called to incident at Primark in Norwich
At 6 p.m. on Tuesday, November 12, officers were dispatched to Haymarket’s Primark after receiving allegations of two men causing a disturbance within the store.
Witnesses claim to have witnessed the suspects walking out of the store while still yelling obscenities at the security guard who was speaking on the phone with the police.
One of the individuals exiting the clothes store was wearing a balaclava, the witness continued.
Two boys, ages 17 and 18, were taken into custody under Section 4 of the Public Order Act—Fear/Provocation of Violence—following a police search of the city, according to a force spokesperson. Both were then released on police bail until January 11, 2025, after being brought to the Wymondham Police Investigation Centre for interrogation.
