‘Not Impossible’ – Kenny Dalglish shares Rangers treble admission in Philippe Clement verdict

Kenny Dalglish believes Rangers, under the leadership of Philippe Clement, have the quality in their squad to win a “impressive” domestic triple this season.

Under the Belgian’s direction, the Light Blues have already won the Viaplay Cup this season. After 29 games, they lead the Scottish Premiership standings by two points above Celtic.

On Sunday, March 10, Clement’s team can secure their spot in the Scottish Cup semi-finals by defeating Hibernian. A treble will always be extremely challenging, although Dalglish acknowledges that it is not “impossible.”

He wrote this on the back page of the pull-out of The Sunday Post on March 10: “Rangers produced another impressive result in Europe with their 2-2 draw in Benfica.” It positions them well to complete the task at Ibrox on Thursday night in order to secure a spot in the competition’s quarterfinals.

“It won’t be simple since the Portuguese are still a very strong team despite going through a difficult time. However, Philippe Clement’s club has persevered, and he is inspiring players to reach a level of performance they weren’t displaying before his arrival.

There will be a lot of discussion about a treble if Rangers win this evening against a Hibs team that is on the rise. And I wouldn’t take that victory for granted. The only team that can win every domestic trophy in one sweep is Rangers.

Although it won’t be simple for them to accomplish, it is still feasible. Right now, there are no Rangers players discussing a triple crown, and that’s okay. However, they have enough skill on the team to perform admirably over the remainder of the season.

This season, will Philippe Clement defeat Celtic to win the championship and a treble?

Under Clement’s leadership, the Gers have undergone an incredible transformation at Ibrox, going from a team that seemed lost under Michael Beale to legitimate title contenders.

Right now in the Scottish Premiership, Rangers are leading the pack. They are in a great position to defeat the Hoops, even if there is still a lot of football still to play before the season ends.

If Clement’s team defeats Hibs at Easter Road on Sunday, they will just need to win two more games to win their second trophy under the Belgian. It won’t be simple, but Dalglish is right when he believes that it is doable.

With a historic season, maybe Rangers will make the unthinkable happen and keep up their impressive play in all competitions. Clement has stated that he wants to go far in the Europa League this season, so he won’t give up on his dreams of success in Europe for domestic success.
