Fortuna Sittard are currently eighth in the Eredivisie
Bojan Radulovic, a Huddersfield Town striker, has joined Dutch top division team Fortuna Sittard on loan until the end of the season.
The attacker has made 33 appearances for the Terriers and scored two goals since signing from HJK in January, including 21 this season.
The 25-year-old joins a team that now sits ninth in the Eredivisie, with the option to make the loan permanent.
“While we saw flashes of ability early on in his time with the club that convinced us to sign him, we just haven’t been able to find a consistency with Bojan that has allowed him to perform at the level we required,” said sporting director Mark Cartwright on the club’s website.
“Always trying and working hard, this is a fantastic transfer for him and an opportunity to regain his form after being unable to perform well in either the Championship or League One. A contract and relocation that benefits all sides; we wish Bojan success with his new team.”
Michael Duff, our coach, said: “Bojan didn’t get off to the best start this summer having missed our pre-season trip to Austria through injury, but he continued to work with us and has been in and out of the side on a number of occasions since.”A pleasant individual with the potential to be a fine player in the right setting, this is a decision that makes sense for everyone involved, both personally and professionally. I wish him the best of luck on loan.
