Suffolk casual grassroots scout (Under-12s – Under-18s)

The Norwich City Football Club is seeking a temporary scout to find and recruit gifted Academy football players who might sign with the Norwich City Academy. The candidate must be based in or near the Suffolk area due to the role’s ad hoc nature.

The ideal applicant will be familiar with the following leagues and have at least one year of scouting experience:

• Eastern Junior Alliance
• Ipswich and Suffolk Youth League
• Suffolk Youth League
• Colchester and District Youth League

The following criteria are essential:

• Knowledge of local academy football
• Experience or a background in scouting
• Self-motivated and committed
• A strategic planner, organiser and co-ordinator
• Confident with the ability to work individually and as part of a successful team
• A ‘people person’ with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Computer literate
• Full driving license
