“Absolutely” – Birmingham City urged to strike fresh Rangers FC transfer agreement
The Blues lead Wycombe Wanderers by two points, but they also have two games left against the Chairboys, and the atmosphere at St. Andrew’s @ Knighthead Park is really exciting.
Chris Davies has done a fantastic job of revamping his club during the season in order to assist create a team that can return to the second division at the first opportunity.
Birmingham fans will want to see the loan agreement made permanent, even though players like Alfie May, Jay Stansfield, and Tomoki Iwata will and have already made headlines this season. Ben Davies from Rangers has been a great addition.
The 29-year-old has participated in every minute of 11 of the Blues’ previous 12 third-tier games and has made 18 appearances in League One so far this season.
Given that Stoke City is interested in Krystian Bielik, Chris Davies will want to make sure he has enough center-back insurance for both this season and the one after, and a permanent contract for the Rangers loanee may be available.
Before the deadline, Football League World asked Mike Gibbs, a Birmingham supporter, if he would like Ben Davies to be given the opportunity to establish B9 as a permanent home.
“Definitely, I believe we need to make Ben Davies’ loan permanent,” he told FLW. He has most likely been among our top players, if not the best.Regular game time is being given to him. I believe he’s having fun. He is 29 years old, which isn’t an absurd age for a defender, and I believe we should do all in our power to win that one.”
