Done deal: Brighton reveal sixth deadline day exit amid West Ham and Norwich City deals

Marcus Ifill, a striker for Brighton, has signed a permanent contract with League Two Bromley for an undisclosed amount of money. “The offer from Bromley gives Marcus the opportunity to play regular senior football to establish himself,” said technical director David Weir, adding, “We wish him the best of luck for the future.”

Prior to joining the under-21 team at the beginning of the previous season, the striker, who joined Albion’s academy from Swindon Town in January 2020, was a consistent member of our under-18 team.

The 21-year-old has made 16 appearances in the Premier League so far this season. Ifill follows Evan Ferguson (West Ham, loan), Ruairi McConville (Norwich), Benicio Baker-Boaitey (Millwall), Ed Turns (Exeter), and Caylan Vickers (Mansfield, loan) as the sixth player to depart Brighton on deadline day.
