Premier League table without VAR: Aston Villa, Wolves, Newcastle and others Ranked in new Table

A look at the Premier League table without VAR to see where Aston Villa, Wolves and Nottingham Forest would be without technology.

For the first time since John Gregory’s tenure as manager during the 1998–1999 campaign, Aston Villa is off to the best start to a Premier League season in decades and may hold the top spot at Christmas.

This season, Unai Emery’s team has beyond predictions; similarly, Wolves, the Midlands rivals, may be said to have exceeded expectations despite being many people’s early favorites to finish last. Wolves are now in 13th place.

Despite being at the center of several contentious VAR calls, Wolves have managed to secure this position, and manager Gary O’Neill has recently acknowledged that he has been opposed to the idea of technology intervention.

With that in mind we take a look at every Premier League club to assess how they would fare without VAR.
