Leeds United captain Ethan Ampadu offered a message to fans after their victory over Cardiff City on Saturday (1 February).

The Whites demolished the Welsh team at Elland Road, winning 7-0 to remain top of the Championship.

Brenden Aaronson, Manor Solomon, Daniel James, Wilfried Gnonto, Mateo Joseph, and Joel Piroe all scored, capping off an impressive showing.

It was Leeds’ greatest win of the season, as Daniel Farke’s side demonstrated their offensive prowess, which has aided them all season.

The result maintained their two-point lead over Sheffield United in the Championship while increasing their goal difference to +41.

The Yorkshire giants return to play on Wednesday (5 February) against in-form Coventry City away.
