On the talkSPORT Breakfast Show, Aston Villa’s Agbonlahor aimed to defeat Celtic’s staunch Brazil, despite the Light Blues maintaining their top rank and fielding some unexpected contenders for the future. But Brazil wasn’t having it, pointing the finger of blame onto the SFA.
England captain Agbonlahor questioned: “What’s going on, Al?” Are the Rangers on top? I keep looking at the Scottish league and thinking Celtic will win, but they continue to lose.” Brazil clapped back, saying, “It’s called referees and officials.”
The Villa hero remained unfazed, saying, “What has happened to the Scottish league, Al?” You used to watch the scores and see Celtic win 6-0, 5-0, and 4-0; now it’s not the case. These teams are catching up. “Kilmarnock, Motherwell.”
Brazil attempted to shut off the conversation: “What are you talking about?” Agbonlahor replied, “You are nervous, aren’t you?”
The disgruntled Hoops fan concluded, “Well, there are two more Old Firms. That will settle it. But, I must say, the Rangers have the advantage.”
