Everton’s prospective purchase will undoubtedly result in adjustments in the summer.
Everton’s season has been filled with drama, and as their second round of charges and prospective takeover come to a conclusion, it might carry over into the summer.
Last summer, the team added a few players, but two of them were on loan, and it’s now unknown how much money will be available. In addition, some of their contracts are about to expire, and they might even have to accept offers for some of its great players from larger teams. In light of all of that, we have chosen to use Transfermarkt’s worth to project Everton’s starting lineup should the transfer rumours materialise.
1. GK – Jordan Pickford
The England number one has had a brilliant year and continues to be a key figure.
2. RB – Festy Ebosele
Nathan Patterson has not established a lock on the right-back spot; Ben Godfrey, Seamus Coleman, and Ashley Young have all alternated at the position this season. The Udinese defender has been linked to the position. Due to his youth and strength, Ebosele might provide something fresh.
3. CB – James Tarkowski
Someone who leads the way at the back, Tarkowski has been crucial to Everton’s defensive solidity.
4. CB – Jacob Greaves
Jacob Greaves of Hull City is one possible addition. Everton is keeping an eye on him in case Jarrad Branthwaite departs, according to reports this week. The Everton defender is attracting interest from elite teams, and Greaves would not break the bank while playing for Hull in the Championship.
5. LB – Vitalyi Mykolenko
The Ukrainian has been a consistent figure at left-back and there’s a feeling that there is a lot more to come from him.
6. CM – Abdoulaye Doucoure
Their leading scorer of the past year, the midfielder has established himself as an important member of the team. Tall, unconventional, and difficult to handle, Doucoure is a special midfield player who has settled well under Dyche.
7. CM – James Garner
A key starter all season, he has improved so much since the beginning of the campaign.
8. CM – Amadou Onana
Onana has drawn interest from numerous teams, but Everton would only allow him to go for a large profit over the £35 million they paid for him in 2022. He is essentially a backup target for the majority of reported clubs, though, so if they can bolster the roster this summer with additions, he might stay. Unless FFP takes control of the decision, they will make every effort to retain one of their finest players.
9. RW – Jack Harrison
He is supposedly just on loan, but he wants to stay in the Premier League and at Everton regardless of Leeds United’s possible promotion. Harrison is needed by Everton on the right, as his parent club has switched to a younger, more inexperienced offensive.
10. LW – Dwight McNeil
A fixture under Dyche, he can be a creative threat and goal scorer in addition to his tremendous work rate. He still needs to get better, though, as he has also struggled in front of the goal. In the summer, there were a lot of connections to wingers, but since then, there have been no updates.
11. ST – Dominic Calvert-Lewin
The striker has had a terrible run of luck in front of goal, but he is still their top scorers. There are not many reports of targets being attacked.
