Stoke City team news vs Hull as Mark Robins makes four changes

As Stoke City plays Hull in the Championship, Mark Robins has made four changes, including giving new attacker

Ali Al-Hamadi his first appearance.

Junior Tchamadeu, Andrew Moran, and Lewis Koumas are benched as Tatsuki Seko, Bae Junho, Josh Wilson-

Esbrand, and Al-Hamadi enter the starting lineup. Ben Pearson sits out as he continues his recuperation after

playing his first two 45 minutes for the under-21s, while Lewis Baker misses out due to illness.

“Hull has won a few games now, it was an impressive result last time out, and they’ve changed the face of their

squad,” Robins stated at his pre-game press conference. In an attempt to move up from their current place, they have

brought in a number of players, much as they did around this time last year in an attempt to make it to the playoffs.

Although it takes some time and can occasionally help or impede, each club completes its tasks within the allotted

time.

Going there is an opportunity for us to do well, and I’m genuinely hoping for that in order to try to advance the

performance levels. We put ourselves in some really fantastic positions last week, but we didn’t take advantage of

them because we made poor choices, made poor decisions, or used the wrong technique. I thought we did okay in

that frustrating performance. It’s only the last section where we didn’t produce anything, which is disappointing

because that’s not what you were hoping for.

At the end of the day, it’s an entertainment industry; we’re not merely trying to close. We must make an effort to

amuse folks in order to keep them interested in coming. I am aware of that, and it irritates me. There is no question

that we will arrive, but the delay is annoying.

However, you’re collaborating with excellent individuals and players who are all eager to learn. Instead of only giving

them negatives, I just want them to have mental freedom. I believe that the only way to be with them is to be as

positive as possible, so that’s what we’re trying to do.

Stoke: Johansson, Gooch, Stevens, Phillips, Rose, Seko, Burger, Junho, Wilson-Esbrand, Lowe, Al-Hamadi. Subs: Bonham, Tchamadeu, Gibson, Lawal, Moran, Lipsiuc, Koumas, Tezgel, Vidigal.
