2 dead, 3 hospitalized after fiery car crash in New Jersey

Oakland, New Jersey –Three people are injured and two people have died as a result of a devastating crash and fire

in Camden County, New Jersey.

It happened on the White Horse Pike near Capitol Avenue in Oaklyn at around 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

There, two cars collided, the police said. The impact of the collision caused one car to catch fire.

After a severe crash and fire in Oaklyn, Camden County, at least five individuals had to be taken to the hospital.

It was necessary to free three individuals from their cars.

In all, five automobiles were involved. The front ends of two of the cars were damaged.

The cause of the crash has not been disclosed by the police.

At the site, one victim passed away. At Cooper University Hospital, a second victim passed away.

Cooper also receives three additional victims. Two are seriously ill, and one is in critical condition.

A man who was in a nearby diner at the time of the crash was interviewed by reporter Jeff Chirico.

“There was an accident just now. Sal Borreggine from Audubon said, “I just came running down the street and there

were just people running all over the place.” “I seen the fire trucks coming down, and it was just craziness.”

Although authorities have not officially disclosed the cause of this collision, our sister station, WPVI, was informed

that the roadways were not icy at the time.
