Ipswich lineup vs. Southampton: Predicted XI for Premier League clash as Julio Enciso makes full debut

Julio Enciso, a newcomer at Pswich Town, may make his entire debut for the Tractor Boys on Saturday when they play Southampton in the Premier League bottom match. In the closing ten minutes of last weekend’s 4-1 loss to Liverpool, the Brighton & Hove Albion loanee came off the bench and assisted Jacob Greaves with a late corner kick.

Wes Burns went out with a knee injury in the first half at Anfield, and Kieran McKenna is concerned that the 30-year-old has developed a serious condition. As a result, Enciso will start this weekend. Burns was replaced against Merseyside by Ben Johnson, but McKenna should start the more aggressive Enciso against the 20th-place Saints. The Paraguayan will play in the final third alongside Omari Hutchinson, Liam Delap, and Jaden Philogene.

Although the Sweden international is just believed to have been rested, Jens Cajuste was a noticeable absence from the team for the match against Liverpool and is therefore anticipated to be cleared to play in this one. Sam Morsy, who scored a late equalizer in September’s 1-1 draw with Southampton, may be in jeopardy as a result of Cajuste’s recall as the Napoli loanee attempts to restructure a double pivot with Kalvin Phillips. There is no indication that Leif Davis, a left-back who missed the second half against Liverpool due to illness, won’t be able to play against Southampton in a lineup that is familiar to him alongside Greaves, Dara O’Shea, Axel Tuanzebe, and Christian Walton.

Ipswich Town possible starting lineup:
Walton; Tuanzebe, O’Shea, Greaves, Davis; Phillips, Cajuste; Hutchinson, Enciso, Philogene; Delap
