WHAT’S NEXT?? Alarm Bells Ringing

UP NEXT? The alarm is going off.

Two goals and four losses in four games. Southampton and Leicester are up next. A rapidly diminishing squad that is currently on the verge of both relegation and the playoffs (nine points). These figures are really concerning.

The ridiculousness of depending solely on Jack Clarke to score goals and the shocking inability to buy a center forward during the previous transfer window despite the cries of supporters are now coming back to haunt us severely. Our one goal threat has been out for six weeks.

With two months remaining in the season, it is practically finished, and the investigation into how things could have gone so terribly wrong so rapidly has started.

The club’s owners need to respond to some important queries, specifically:
When we were still a viable play-off contender, why was Tony Mowbray fired?

Why was Mowbray replaced by an unaccomplished man who had to be fired nine weeks after being appointed?

When it was so clear to everyone that a striker was what was sorely needed to have a realistic shot at promotion, why wasn’t one signed during the January transfer window?

Our season has been effectively ruined by an unbelievable list of poor decisions, carelessness, and incompetence, and the club’s ownership needs to take responsibility for it.
