The Brazilian forward announced the birth of their child on Instagram Friday night, March 1, along with his partner Tess.
A picture of the toddler, whom they named Naya Rose Pereira da Silva, was posted by the couple.
The Rangers forward and partner commented on social media: “Naya Rose Pereira da Silva.” There is nothing like this love.”
In July of last year, Danilo signed a five-year contract with the Ibrox team for an undisclosed sum, leaving Feyenoord. In August, he made his club debut in a loss to Kilmarnock. Later that month, against Livingston, he scored his first goal in light blue.
Only a few weeks had passed since the forward’s horrific “facial fracture” from a head injury sustained in a clash with Liam Gordon of St Johnstone. In December, Danilo made his first team comeback before hobbling off against Hearts due to a knee injury.
