Dalglish was impressed by Keleher’s performance for Liverpool against Chelsea in the Carabao Cup final.

Sir Kenny Dalglish has spoken about Caoimhin Kelleher, and the Liverpool and Celtic veteran has been quite impressed by the Republic of Ireland international goalkeeper.
Dalglish praised Keleher’s performance for Liverpool in the Carabao Cup final against Premier League rivals Liverpool.
Due to Alisson’s injury, the 25-year-old Republic of Ireland international goalkeeper is currently making frequent appearances for Liverpool.
HITC revealed earlier this week that Celtic are interested in signing Kelleher. The defending Scottish Premiership champions want to sign the 25-year-old to replace Joe Hart, who has chosen to retire at the conclusion of the season.
Dalglish mentioned Kelleher on the No Tippy Tappy Football Podcast, stating, “You have a young goalkeeper coming through who played fantastically well on Sunday in the cup final.” He makes two spectacular one-on-one saves and isn’t awful either.
“He played midfield until he was 15. It could be tough for him right now because Alisson, if fit, will be first choice, but Kelleher is terrific and has a good penalty record.”
My opinion: Caoimhin Kelleher would prosper at Celtic.
Caoimhin Kelleher, the Liverpool goalkeeper, would excel at Celtic, in my opinion. I believe the 25-year-old Republic of Ireland international will be a success at the Hoops.
Celtic is one of the world’s biggest clubs, with a massive supporter following. The Hoops often win major Scottish titles, notably the Scottish Premiership, and compete in top European events such as the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League.
I believe Kelleher must examine a potential move to Celtic.
When Alisson is fit and available, Kelleher serves as Liverpool’s backup goalkeeper. He is now 25, and he is well aware that he is capable of greater accomplishments.
