According to Football Insider, Manchester City’s top target for the last week of the transfer market is Juventus’ Andrea Cambiaso. City and manager Pep Guardiola have identified a versatile full-back as a priority as they seek to continue their large-scale spending. Cambiaso, 24, of Juventus, has being monitored, but the Serie A giants are expected to want between £50-60 million this month. The Turin club is hesitant to part with the Italy international before the 3 February deadline, and sources believe it “won’t be an easy deal to do”. Cambiaso is mostly a left back, but he can also play right back and central midfield. He has made 28 appearances in all competitions for Juventus this season, starting in 22 of those outings.

Cambiaso identified as top priority at Man City

He progressed through the ranks at Genoa before joining Juventus in 2022 and moving on loan to Bologna for the 2022-23 season. Cambiaso, who plays with both feet, earned his Italy debut in March 2024 and has two goals in 13 games. The 24-year-old’s contract with Juventus runs until June 2029.
