Aston Villa Insider: “Jhon Duran’s head has been turned” following the Real Madrid News

The club’s former scout claims that top European teams like PSG and Real Madrid have expressed interest in Aston Villa striker Jhon Duran.

In spite of Unai Emery’s assertions, Mick Brown, who is still very well-connected at Villa Park and was the head scout at Man United and Blackburn, exclusively told Football Insider that Villa would be amenable to the 21-year-old’s departure.
When Duran was once again kept out of the starting lineup after a 1-1 draw with West Ham, Emery declared, “I want him here with us,” in reference to the striker’s long-term prospects.

However, in November, Football Insider disclosed that the 21-year-old’s position in the squad had been giving Emery and his coaching staff “headaches.”

According to Brown, the striker may want to leave Villa Park since he is fed up with his lack of playing time there.

Following Real Madrid’s announcement, Aston Villa may profit from Jhon Duran.
Only four of Duran’s 29 appearances this season have been in the Premier League, and he has only started seven of them. Now, he wants to relocate in order to get more playing time.

Brown, who spent more than ten years at Manchester United during their most successful era and has a plethora of knowledge in recruiting elite players, maintained that Villa might allow him to leave for the right price due to the problems that arise behind the scenes.

He told Football Insider, “I think the interest in him has turned his head.”

When they played West Ham, he was left off the team once more.

According to what I’ve been told, he can be a challenging character and a disruptive influence behind the scenes.

“Emery might see that and decide that they would be willing to let him go somewhere else if they had a chance to get a fee that works for the club.”

“I think that will happen if they can obtain a good price for him.

“I think it’s always a distraction when teams like Real Madrid and PSG are sniffing around.”

However, I anticipate that he is thinking about moving on when you consider the problems we have already discussed regarding his behavior on the training field.

Naturally, it must be a contract that works for Villa, but I wouldn’t be shocked to see him leave.
