Horror as boy, 11, is killed and two others are left with life-changing injuries after BMW crashes into the back of a parked lorry near Stonehenge

A Major Trauma Centre received one of the injured patients. Following the horrific incident, police are asking

witnesses to come forward.

A terrifying vehicle accident near Stonehenge has claimed the life of an 11-year-old kid and seriously injured two others.

At approximately 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, a BMW collided with a parked truck on the A303 close to Amesbury,

Wiltshire, resulting in the dispatch of two air ambulances to the incident.

A black BMW crashed into the back of a lorry parked in a lay-by after veering off the carriageway.

At the scene, an 11-year-old London kid was pronounced dead.

The driver of the car, a man in his 40s, and a passenger, a 15-year-old boy, both from London, suffered potentially

life-changing injuries and have been taken to Southampton General Hospital.

Around 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, two air ambulances were sent to a traffic accident (seen) on the A303 close to

Amesbury, Wiltshire.

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance flew one of the injured victims to the Major Trauma Centre.

Despite not transporting anyone, Wiltshire Air Ambulance also responded to the scene.

While police continue their forensic collision investigation, the A303’s westbound carriageway is still closed. The

road heading east has reopened.

“This is a tragic incident where a young boy has lost his life and two other people are in a serious condition in the

hospital,” stated Inspector Will Ayres of the Roads Policing Unit.

‘Their next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers. Our thoughts are with

them at this very difficult time.

“I implore anyone who saw anything to contact us immediately.”

“After a serious road traffic collision between a car and a lorry on the A303 near Stonehenge yesterday evening, an

11-year-old boy has died,” a police spokeswoman said.

A lorry parked in a layby collided with a black BMW that was heading west from the Countess Roundabout towards

Stonehenge at approximately 7:30 p.m.

Regretfully, a London kid, age 11, was pronounced deceased at the spot.

Police have urged any witnesses to come forward to help provide details

Both the driver, a forty-something guy, and the passenger, a fifteen-year-old kid from London, were sent to

Southampton General Hospital after suffering possibly fatal injuries.

The lorry’s driver was unharmed.

“At this time, the westbound carriageway of the A303 is still closed.” The road heading east has reopened.
