Oscar Cortes Rangers injury update provided by Philippe Clement
Oscar Cortes, a winger for the Rangers, got an injury report from Philippe Clement.
With a comeback win at Rugby Park, the league leaders retained their two-point lead over Celtic. The
forward for Lens, who is now on loan, had a respectable game.
Danny Armstrong’s early strike for Killie was canceled out by James Tavernier and Tom Lawrence as the
championship contenders put on a superb second half display to take all three points in Ayrshire.
In a mixed performance, Cortes forced some changes out of Killie right-back Joe Wright, but the strong
defender also defeated the Colombian on other instances.
After that, the 20-year-old appeared to have a hamstring injury, so Clement decided to take no chances
and replaced Scott Wright.
Following the game, the Belgian gave a brief update. “No (we don’t know), not yet,” he stated. That
assessment must be completed either tomorrow or the following day.
“To make really good choices we have a lot of games, so we’ll see if he was tired or it was more.”
