Breaking news: Riyad Mahrez sends two-word message to Jamie Vardy after Leicester development.

Following Leicester’s 2-1 Premier League victory against Tottenham on Sunday (January 26), Riyad Mahrez took to social media to tweet former teammate Jamie Vardy.

Vardy, 38, scored the equaliser just after halftime before pointing to the Premier League emblem on his sleeve in front of the Tottenham fans, referring to the fact that he has one more title than them. Richarlison opened the scoring for Ange Postecoglu’s injury-plagued Tottenham Hotspur, latching onto Pedro Porro’s pinpoint cross. The veteran striker restored parity in the 46th minute before Bilal El Khannouss rounded off the scoring just four minutes later. Leicester’s 2-1 away win over Tottenham lifts them out of the relegation zone for the first time in 2025, leaving them in 17th place with four wins, five draws, 14 defeats, and 17 points from 23 Premier League games.
