Celtic in subtle Rangers troll as eagle-eyed fans spot hidden social media dig
The Hoops fans are enjoying every moment both on and off the park as they go clear at the top of the league
On and off the pitch, Celtic supporters had plenty to celebrate, and their social media manager even
found time to take a sneaky jab at their city rivals.
After Aberdeen lost to St Mirren on the road, Brendan Rodgers’ team knew that a victory over
Hearts at Tynecastle would put them atop the Scottish Premiership. Additionally, they were aware
that they could surpass Philippe Clement’s team by 11 points after they had drawn with Dundee
United at home earlier in the afternoon.
It’s normal to take a few jabs at your opponents when things are going well, and Celtic definitely did
that last night. They prevailed over Hearts thanks to goals from Adam Idah, Nicolas Kuhn on the
break, and Kyogo Furuhashi. Kyogo’s goal set off the social media joke.
Given that Celtic went 11 points ahead of Rangers after their victory at Gorgie, many Celtic
supporters noticed the post in question below with the “- 11.”
