Everton: Jeff Stelling shares ‘worse’ second points deduction verdict live on talkSPORT

Everton: Jeff Stelling shares ‘worse’ second points deduction ruling live on talkSPORT.

Jeff Stelling has questioned how the Premier League took so long to get to their conclusion over the Everton points deduction appeal, with the worst yet to come.

The iconic announcer shared that, with a second charge now approaching, the verdict may not be heard until after the end of the season as he criticized the “shambolic” decision-making.

Stelling continued his outburst, stating that both Everton and Nottingham Forest will fight the new rulings when they are made, attacking the organisation of the Premier League.

Speaking live on talkSPORT [27 February, 06:25], Stelling ranted: “I thought four was the maximum they would get and it might even have been less than that. My concern with all of this is that it’s taken four months.

“Four months to go through the whole process, how can they take that long? Worse, of course, is with their other charges, particularly those against Forest.

“The chances are if they appeal, and my word they are going to appeal because we’ve seen what happens, then the outcome of those appeals won’t be made known until after the end of the season which is as shambolic as it gets.”
