Rangers-linked star plays in River Plate v Boca Juniors to prove Old Firm bottle

Rangers-linked Boca Juniors winger Luca Langoni showed he had what it takes to play against Old Firm rivals River Plate in the Superclasico by starting the game off the bench.

Few derbies can compare to the Rangers vs. Celtic matchup in Glasgow in terms of fervor, ferocity, and persistence, but the matchup between these two Buenos Aires clubs is legendary.

Luca Langoni began the game on the bench in the most recent meeting between the two teams, which was played at River Plate’s renovated Estadio Monumental, which has 85k seats and was devoid of any Boca Juniors supporters.
