Celtic Warned To ‘Look At Performance Overall’ By Former Top Flight Star.

In order for Celtic to win the league this season, former Scottish Premiership player Stephen Craigan has emphasized that they must improve their game-opening performances.

On Sunday, Celtic defeated Motherwell 3-1 on the road thanks to a second-half comeback.

Celtic managed to reduce Rangers’ advantage at the top to just two points thanks to an assist from Adam Idah.

After Celtic’s draw with Kilmarnock at Parkhead, Craigan acknowledged that it was a significant victory for the team and that there was evident relief at the conclusion that they had not dropped more points away from home.

He maintained that although Celtic was not playing at their best, they still displayed champions’ qualities to win the match, and he emphasized that if they want to win the league, they cannot afford to start the season poorly.

Without a doubt, Craigan declared on BBC Radio Scotland that it was a significant victory for them.

“I believe they were relieved when it seemed like they would only receive a point for a considerable amount of the game.

“They have succeeded in pushing themselves over the breaking point, which is what winners do, and Celtic have proven this time and time again.

But in my opinion, they need to improve from the start if they hope to win the title and the performance as a whole.

On Wednesday night, Celtic host Dundee at home. The following Sunday, they travel to Tynecastle to play Hearts.
