“We don’t do that” Kris Boyd responds as Celtic fans shout at him in Sky studio to interrupt Rangers hype

Rangers: Kris Boyd responds as Celtic fans shout at him in Sky Sports studio at Motherwell.

Kris Boyd has reminded Celtic fans of Rangers’ two-point lead over their team at the top of the SPL.

Hoops fans were seen shouting at the former Gers forward in the Sky Sports studio following their last-gasp victory over Motherwell on Sunday (25 February).

After presenter Eilidh Barbour addressed the event, the pundit stated that there are a few people who are pleased that the Parkhead club has reduced the deficit from five to two points, with the Light Blues still leading after their 5-0 victory over Hearts on Saturday (24 February).

“There are a few happy people about cutting the gap from five points to two,” Boyd told the crowd.

“Are they your mates?” Barbour inquired. “They are shouting something at you.”

“There are a few happy ones, wow,” Boyd remarked.

Rangers firmly on top despite Celtic victory

It was certainly a much-needed victory for Celtic as two injury-time goals secured them all three points against Motherwell after going in behind at half-time.

The Hoops would have known they simply had to pick up a win, otherwise, it would have been extremely difficult to bridge the gap against an in-form Rangers side.

It’s no surprise to see Boyd get a bit of stick after what he achieved at Ibrox and because he doesn’t often speak kindly about the Parkhead club, just like his fellow Sky Sports pundit Chris Sutton doesn’t about the Gers.

Philippe Clement will be feeling very good about his side’s title hopes after their convincing victory over what was a Hearts team that came into the game in great form.

It’s another weekend where the Light Blues are coming out of it on top of the SPL table and that will certainly please one half of Glasgow.
